Art History is a half year (one semester) elective for grades 9-12.  Coursework focuses on historical aspects of art, art appreciation/aesthetics, and creative application through studio work.  Students explore a variety of art mediums, concepts, perspectives and skills, both traditional and non-traditional and participate in exhibitions of their own work. 

(This is the prerequisite for Art I, Art II, Digital Graphics and all other Art Studio Classes.)

Art I is a half year (one semester) elective for grades 9-12.  Coursework focuses on the Art Elements, Principles of Design and continuing the study of historical aspects of art, art appreciation/aesthetics, and creative application through studio work.  Students explore a variety of art materials, concepts, perspectives and skills, both traditional and non-traditional and participate in exhibitions of their own work.

(Prerequisite: Successful completion of Art History)
