K-12 Visual Arts
I am enjoying an exciting tenth year teaching at Cleveland! Every day in the Art room is a new adventure! I am inspired by my students and love sharing with them my passion for learning and the unique opportunities the arts create for individualized expression, research, problem-solving, creativity, communication, and both understanding and challenging of the world around and within each of us as individuals.

In addition to the visual Arts, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband, geocaching, fishing, hunting, reading, and watching/playing sports. I love to travel and have been able to visit places like Greece, France, U.K., Germany, Ireland, etc., many with the choir I sing with (the David Jorlett Chorale).

My Art specializations are Ceramics and Printmaking, however, I enjoy many different media. I have recently begun exploring traditional Japanese fabric dying (shibori) and look forward to sharing this with students in the future!
